Tea Lab
August 7, 2024
We make it interesting for our partners by incorporating workshops that heighten mindfulness, relaxation and creativity in one unique experience. On this day, our speakers guide employees in unlocking the world of wellness with the art of blending tea leaves and herbs.
Summary

Psycho-education can be fun! ThoughtFull partners with speakers and vendors to provide interesting and interactive workshops, customised for organisations. Also doubling up as a team building event for mental health awareness, the organisation has opted for a special opportunity for their employees to relax, socialise and try their hand at tea blending.

In addition to a 40-min wellness talk in a casual setting, a Tea Lab was set up. Here's why TEA made the cut:

  • Promotes Relaxation: Brewing and tasting tea encourages slow, deliberate actions, helping participants to de-stress and unwind.
  • Mindfulness Practice: Engaging the senses through the aromas, textures, and flavors of tea enhances focus and presence, key aspects of mindfulness.
  • Encourages Social Interaction: Sharing tea fosters connection and open conversations, improving workplace relationships.
  • Boosts Creativity: Exploring blends and experimenting with flavors engages curiosity and creative thinking.
  • Health Benefits: Tea contains antioxidants and can have calming or energizing properties, promoting overall well-being.
