Background
Over the past decade, there has been a growing trend in personalised and user-centered healthcare. According to a report by Research and Markets, the global wearable healthcare market is expected to reach a value of $74 billion by 2026, indicating a significant increase in the use of wearable devices and their integration into healthcare systems.  The popularity of these devices demonstrates the demand for personalized health information and the desire for individuals to take an active role in managing their own health.
While there is growing interest in leveraging physiological data to enhance personalized care in mental healthcare, its adoption is not as widespread as in physical healthcare. This study demonstrates how integrating physiological data into ThoughtFull's structured program allows clinicians to have greater visibility to user progress, thus enabling more effective 360-intervention to promote enhanced outcomes.
Understanding that much of mental health insights are still heavily reliant on subjective data, ThoughtFull wanted to enhance our clinician's ability to delve deeper into their clients' wellbeing and progress by integrating objective data into their intervention methodology. LabFront's platform coupled with the Garmin wearable were the best options for in-depth data collection and analysis to achieve the intended outcomes.
