ThoughtFull™ Online Psychologists FAQs
Will online therapy be limited to weekdays & regular working hours?
With ThoughtFull, you have the option of booking by your availability or booking by professional. If you book by availability, you’re able to choose any date and time slots that are open however you may not select your professional. If you book by professional, you are limited to their availability but will be able to choose from any of their slots.
What happens if our online therapy session is cut short because of technical issues?
Depending on the duration of time left, your professional may either schedule another short session to account for the minutes left, or if the client intends to schedule another session the next session can be extended to include the time that was left from the previous session.
Is online video therapy as effective as face to face therapy?
Recent psychological research has shown that online platforms can be as effective as traditional face-to-face psychotherapy. It provides therapists and counsellors with innovative options and strategies for more effective and adaptable solutions. Some clients also experience online therapy as more comfortable and less threatening.
We understand that online therapy may not be suitable for everyone and cases that are better suited for traditional face to face therapy will be coordinated by our team.
